The Västra Götaland’s Youth Symphony Orchestra (VÄGUS) are experts at making classical music accessible to all. From famous compositions to majestic symphonies – VÄGUS performs it all with the same unmistakeable passion and energy that has become its trademark.
The symphony orchestra is renewed on an annual basis. It is only the conductor Simon Kim Phipps, that has been a part of VÄGUS since its founding in 2000. This evening they play
a musical journey through Swedish music history in the performance Heja Sverige. The evening ends withAllan Pettersson’s dramatic seventh symphony.

The orchestra consists of about 80 young musicians from all over Västra Götaland aged 13-20 years. Join the orchestra, you too!
