Star guitarist Ulf Wakenius – who was hand-picked by fabled pianist Oscar Peterson and the choice of famous Danish bass player Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen – forms a dazzling new trio with Magnus Öström and Dan Berglund from legendary ensemble E.S.T.

This marks a new step for Wakenius, who usually travels the world with singer Youn Sun Nah or his son, guitarist Erik Wakenius. This evening is a fantastic chance for his fans (among which are John McLaughlin and Jeff Beck) to hear him play something different.

Ulf Wakenius, bass player Dan Berglund and drummer Magnus Öström form a trio that just as eagerly interprets Keith Jarrett or Esbjörn Svensson, as it explores unexpected sides of Beatles hits or floats through unique compositions of its own that taste of world music. Relentless yet subtle swing in which melody and rhythm take centre stage.
