Triptyk offers an evening of young musicians delivering sweet melodies and vibrant rhythms.
Information from Rytmikverkstan:
The young and promising musicians featured in the concert Triptyk – Nevó Algani, Jakob Hesselink, and August Marmander – are soon to graduate from the music program at Hvitfeldtska in Gothenburg. They present a three-part concert with a diverse and captivating character.
Matti Caspi is renowned for his Hebrew interpretations of Latin American bossa nova classics, including works by Antônio Carlos Jobim. This fusion serves as an inspiration for Nevó Algani, who, in this multicultural encounter, explores his own roots and musical expressions alongside his ensemble.
Jakob Hesselink takes the stage with a collection of original pop songs for his debut as a songwriter. His compositions showcase his ability to craft melodic tunes and lyrics that capture the essence of youth. Jakob’s performance features, among others, Sara Trobäck Hesselink, concertmaster of the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra.
August Marmander’s music is greatly influenced by the British musical genius Jacob Collier, which shapes the final act of the evening. Together with his choir, specially assembled for this event, August performs songs by Jacob Collier and Magnus Tingsek in his own arrangements. Joining him are members of Sångensemblen Amanda.
