Here, the musicians of the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra get to show off their skills in music by Vivaldi and Bach, and in Swiss Frank Martin’s supreme Concerto for Seven Wind Instruments, Percussion and Strings.

After the interval, the orchestra demonstrates that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts in Brahms’ Symphony No. 3, with the well-known love theme from the Ingrid Bergman film “Goodbye Again”.
