Event has already taken place. Everything from jazzy art pop to floating excursions in the borderland between jazz, classical and electronic with German Sebastian Studnitzky with band, plus singer Stefanie Boltz's new duo JAZZBABY!
Cross-border trumpeter and pianist Sebastian Studnitzky has collaborated with, among others, Nils Landgren’s Funk Unit and Jazzanova. With precise and balanced movements, he moves together with his band STUDNITSKY KY between jazz, classical and electronic, touches techno, funk and minimalism to land in a hypnotic music that is entirely his own.
This evening offers two concerts – we also get to hear Munich-based singer Stefanie Boltz together with pianist Christian Wegscheider. The previously announced duo Le Bang Bang has stopped playing together and we instead get the privilege of experiencing Stefanie Boltz’s newly started JAZZBABY!
Together, they move freely between blues, chamber music, art pop and chanson with jazz as a common thread. In this music, anything can happen, at any moment. Boltz and Wegscheider come from a collective of musicians from Germany and Austria, which is a platform for brave music. Courage not only for the unusual, but also courage for expression, outbursts and escapades.
“Celestial! Smart, but anything but overly intellectual songs that aim straight for the heart and mind.” SÜDDEUTSCHE ZEITUNG
Sebastian Studnitzky and JAZZBABY! has moved the concert from the previously announced October 23 to October 30. The time and place are the same as before and the purchased ticket for the event is valid. If you have any questions, please contact the ticket office via biljett@gso.se or telephone 031-726 53 00.
