Young orchestral musicians gather in the Concert Hall for several intensive days during which they hone their skills and practice their repertoires ahead of the closing concert in the Stora Salen auditorium.
Conductors and artistic leaders for the Sports Holiday Orchestra are Marjolein Vermeeren, conductor and flautist in the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, and Ron Davis Alvarez, the Gothenburg-based, award-winning teacher and conductor with assignments all over the world, who is also known as the artistic director for the Side by Side music camp.
