Side by Side is organized by the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra as an important part of Gothenburg’s 400-year jubilar. During a few lovely days in June, children and young people from around the world get the chance to sing and play music together, side by side with professional musicians. With music as a uniting force the camp fights segregation and builds bridges between people, cultures and continents.
Choirs in Concert offers choral pieces from near and afar, known classics as well as newly written material. Prepare for some wonderful summer feels in this fantastic music experience under the direction of Birgitta Mannerström Molin and the Gothenburg Symphony Vocal Ensemble’s very own Alexander Einarsson. The concert is held in Stora Salen at the Concert Hall and marks the end of camp for the CHILDREN’S and UPPER VOICES CHOIR.
