Shahram Nazeri is one of Iran’s greatest classical singer, born in a Kurdish family and the first singer who set the poems of Rumi to Persian music. His sufi music has captivated music lovers throughout the world.

The New York Times has called Shahram Nazeri the “Persian Nightingale” and Christian Science Monitor appointed him to “Iran’s Pavarotti”. In Gothenburg he will perform with the famous Dastan Ensemble, the largest Persian classical music group outside of Iran, packed with top-class musicians and virtuosi.
