In Sarah Klang's deeply personal pop, there is room for vulnerability, strength, and a large dose of humour. Now, she presents her music in new, irresistible arrangements together with Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra.
In Sarah Klang’s deeply personal pop music, there is a blend of vulnerability, strength, and a generous dose of humour. After touring around Europe, performing in the USA and at Way Out West, it’s time for the incomparable Sarah Klang to connect with her home audience in Gothenburg in a new way. She now presents her music in new, irresistible arrangements together with Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra.
The evening will be a dramatic journey where Klang guides the audience through her four acclaimed albums – from her debut, Love in the Milky Way, which music journalist Jan Gradvall called “The best Swedish debut album I’ve ever heard,” to the Grammy-winning follow-ups Creamy Blue and VIRGO. The evening will culminate with brand new material from the upcoming album Beautiful Woman, which Sarah has been working on in Los Angeles together with Eric D Johnson (Fruit Bats/Bonny Light Horseman).
An exclusive evening with rarely performed material and Sarah Klang’s most beloved songs.
The arrangements are by Martin Schaub and the conductor is Christoffer Nobin.
