Audio artist Jasmine Guffond works in the contact areas between social, political and technical infrastructures. She converts digital data into sounding creations based on, for example, algorithms for face detection, global networks and internet cookies. What does it mean when our individual habits become traceable, and when our identities, choices and personalities are reduced to a data stream?

Jasmine Guffond’s participation is made possible through funds from the SNW Government.

This evening she meets Berlin-based artist Ilan Katin, who collaborates with musicians in visual live performances and during installations. Here’s an example of a previous work they did together:
