Chicago-born Patti Smith needs no further introduction. Already from the first album “Horses” from 1975, she has captivated fans worldwide and has won and been nominated for several different prestigious awards. Among other things, she has been nominated for four Grammy Awards, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and in 2011 she won the Polar Prize. In 2017, Bob Dylan won the Nobel Prize in Literature but was unable to attend, however Smith was at the Konserthuset in Stockholm and performed Dylan’s song “A Hard Rain’s A-Gonna Fall” from 1962.
