Event has already taken place. Meet the people who made powerful Life Reflected - a multimedia show based on four Canadian women's engaging life stories.
The stories of the four women – Amanda Todd, Alice Munro, Roberta Bondar and Rita Joe – inspired the director and creative producer Donna Feore, and the orchestra’s artistic director, Alexander Shelley, to create Life Reflected: ’The stories of these four women are some of the most captivating, personal and yet universal stories I have heard.’
One of the stories is Amanda Todd’s – a vibrant 15-year-old who, after suffering for years from cyber abuse tragically took her life on October 10, 2012. In the panel discussion, her mother Carol Todd participates, as well as Jocelyn Morlock who composed the music for that part of the performance.
The choreographer and dancer Santee Smith, as well as Alexander Shelley and Gothenburg Symphony’s CEO Sten Cranner, also participate in the panel discussion.
Throughout Point Music Festival 23-26 May, the Gothenburg Concert Hall will be transformed. With sound, lighting and design, we’ll create an atmosphere where anything can happen. An atmosphere where music, dance, performing art and other art forms meet in new, unexpected ways, sweeping the audience into an adventure.
