Sonny Rollins was the inspiration for the Chilean Melissa Aldana making the tenor saxophone her instrument and moving to the USA in order to develop as an artist and musician.

Now she conquers both the New York and the world jazz scene and is hailed by the critics: “An incredibly focused artistic expression” wrote the New York Times about her latest album Back Home.
