Max Raabe and Palast Orchester manage being simultaneously lazy and hyperactive. In Germany the newest Max Raabe song “Der perfekte Moment… wird heut verpennt” (sleeping through the perfect moment) is quickly gaining popularity with a music video that shows the singer idly lying in a hammock on a raft floating through Berlin. At the same time Max Raabe & Palast Orchester are putting together a new show for Germany, and they are working on a great new program for their Skandinavia tour 2018 entitled “Let´s Do It”.

Next to the famous song “Let´s Do It” by Cole Porter, Max Raabe & Palast Orchester will introduce their fresh interpretation of the seldomly heard ever-so-lovely melody of “With Your Eyes Wide Open”. For “Three Little Words” Max Raabe will be joined by two of his band mates to form a close harmony singing trio. “Swedish Sphinx” Greta Garbo has a special place in the program with the funny German song “Du bist meine Greta Garbo” (You Are My Greta Garbo) while Robert Stolz´s oriental foxtrot “Salomé” takes the listener for a short trip into the Sahara.

The announcement-posters show Max Raabe sitting next to a raven on telecommunication wires high above a city. This is his friend Rudi and the two often chat about fashion and travel. Max Raabe will certainly have a lot to talk about when he returns from Scandinavia. After all, the “Let´s Do It”-Tour will cover Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland and even take them to St Petersburg in September and October 2018.
