Event has already taken place. A dramatic story about jealousy and murder, narrated by actor Krister Henriksson. Tolstoy’s classic novella The Kreutzer Sonata is named after Beethoven’s beautiful violin sonat.
Neither does the Norwegian Chamber Orchestra. Alongside actor Krister Henriksson, well-known from the stage, television and movies, they offer a performance where Janácek’s famous string quartet, the Kreutzer Sonata, shares the stage with Tolstoy’s furious text.
The remarkable writer Leo Tolstoy has also written master pieces such as War and Peace and Anna Karenina. He believed in the novel as a tool for social reform, something that would enable us to become kinder, more thoughtful and more generous towards others. More about this in the video:
