Gothenburg Symphonic Choir is celebrating 100 years! Therefore we fill NK with Händel’s powerful Hallelujah from Messiah and to maximize the celebration, you are welcome to attend in a big sing-a-long. During the day you will also be able to go find secret christmas gifts in the stores and leave your contribution to Gothenburg’s hopefully biggest singing Christmas greeting ever… The day is, in other words, stuffed with Halleluja Moments!

The hunt for hidden christmas gifts starts at 10.00 when the department store opens. A number of secret “Halleluja Moments” are hidden in the stores with the possibility to win concert tickets.

Throughout the day you can also take place in Gothenburg Symphony´s music chairs at the entrance to Östra Hamngatan. Step into your own music bubble and enjoy beautiful music via the digital channel GSOplay.

At 13.00-13.45 it is time for Gothenburg Symphonic Choir to take place on stage in a concert with Händel’s magnificent Halleluja choir as a final. Then we hope that as many as possible dare to sing-a-long so we get the roof of NK to lift! Here you find sing-a-long-versions if you want to practice before we meet at NK.

At 14.00-15.00 you can leave your very own singing Halleluja greeting in the “filmstudio” by the stage. Your contribution will be added to all other recordings made during the day. Together we create a grand digital christmas greeting from Gothenburg Symphony – and all Gothenburg!

At 17.00 the department store closes.
