The subscription concert is unfortunately canceled.

As a subscriber, you will be refunded the part of the subscription amount that pertains to the canceled concerts. All refunds will be made before Easter.

One of the finest violin concertos from the Romantic era, by Tchaikovsky, composed shortly after his marriage had failed. The soloist is the 17-year-old Spanish violinist Maria Duenas who has made a star career after winning several international competitions.

The conductor Manfred Honeck also leads the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra in Dvorak’s exuberant Symphony No. 8.
