Event has already taken place. The modern chamber ensemble goes out hunting for contemporary links from time to time.
Based on these Gageego! icons, the ensemble has searched, traced and sniffed out (googled!) its way to the different composers’ respective influence on the world of music and later composers. Seek and you will find, listen and you will dream…
Grisey’s Vortex Temporum is the central piece with its whirling sounds and arpeggios, but is given a new light here by the two young composers John Croft, from New Zealand, and Irish Ann Cleare, who take the legacy of spectral music into a new era of tonal and spatially explorative music. The chains become long lines and brittle whispers – harshly beautiful.
Here you will find all the necessary information that you need to know about before your magical visit in the Concert Hall.
