Norwegian harpist Uno Alexander Vesje has won prizes in a number of international soloist competitions, collaborated with electro musicians and released two solo albums. Here he performs his own music in a trio and in a harp quintet. The imaginative piece Dandelion was commissioned by the Oslo Philharmonic in 2021.
Initially, we hear Ensemble Caplet playing newly written music by Pierre Guis, violinist in the Gothenburg Symphony. The piece Carte Postal is a dreamy postcard to a little newborn girl that Guis wrote to his friends in Ensemble Caplet. A chance to hear finely calibrated contemporary chamber music with some of Gothenburg’s and the Nordic region’s best musicians.
Don’t miss more music with Ensemble Caplet in our chamber series Sunday 28 May.
