In general, we refund all tickets for the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra’s own events, individually as well as within subscriptions.

Refunds will be made automatically as soon as we know how the autumn season will be affected, but no later than 15 January 2021. More info about how the refunds will be made and the decision to cancel / move events can be found here.

If you have any questions, please contact our ticket office: biljett@gso.se, +46(0)31-7265300. There is a lot of pressure on the ticket office and we hope that you can be tolerant of the fact that it can take an extra long time to get an answer.

Charlie Parker’s heir, but also an explorer in African American culture. Steve Coleman grew up in Chicago in a home where the bebop genius Parker was God,and in a city crazy about dancing funk, rock, soul and blues. It was this mix that gave birth to an eternal love for melody, harmony and rhythm. New York opened his ears to Cecil Taylor, David Murray, Dave Holland, Mike Brecker and Abbey Lincoln. He traveled to Cuba and West Africa. He formed the group M-base which focused on improvisation and structure, music reflecting life experience and with an openness for the music of other cultures.

Steve Coleman & Five Elements offer a musical journey that is constantly changing in colour and full of groovy energy from the very first second to the last.
