Wagner: Overture to “Tannhäuser”

The piece combines musical elements from Wagners early and late period, which is one of the many reasons why it is so exciting. In this arrangement and at this performance, organist Nathan Laube has highlighted the concert hall organ’s unbeatable wealth of timbres to portray Wagner’s colorful orchestration in his own way.
