Stravinsky: Violin Concerto

Following her debut with the Symphony Orchestra, Gothenburg residents have welcomed award-winning violinist Ava Bahari into their hearts. She is now Artist in Residence for the 2024–2025 season. We hear Stravinsky’s neoclassical and playfully melodic violin concerto, in which each movement begins with a striking chord that seems to say: Listen up – we’re starting! The Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, led by chief conductor Santtu-Matias Rouvali.
