Be a part of the Sports Holiday Orchestra. Every year in February, young musicians aged 11-19 gather in Gothenburg Concert Hall to form a symphony orchestra together.
During the rehearsals, the participants are coached by musicians as they become acquainted with the classical symphonic repertoire and develop their skills together. The Sports Holiday Orchestra is a guaranteed energy boost and a great way to meet and get to know other people who also love music. We hope you will join us!
The conductor are Ron Davis Alvarez, Gothenburg-based award-winning pedagogue and conductor with assignments all over the world and conductor and artistic director of Side by Side. They make sure that every last detail is fine tuned prior to the grand finale – a concert in the Stora salen!

Fee
- The course fee is SEK 250.
- Members of the National Association of Young Musicians, RUM, living in Västra Götaland or Halland pay only SEK 50, the rest is reimbursed by RUM. For questions about RUM membership, contact: matilda.haggarde@rum.se
